The Committee members include three Labor, two Liberal, one National and one Greens Party senators. They released an interim report on 2 Dec, the excutive summary of which is available here.
The HGPA has subsequently made a submission to the Senate Select Committee on Health, alongside a submission from Dr Colin Pearce and Dr Richard Terry on behalf of the Charlestown Square Medical Centre. Dr Colin Pearce, Dr Richard Terry, and the HGPA have subsequently been invited to appear and provide evidence to a public hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Health on Thursday 5 February 2015.
We will do our utmost to represent the views of HGPA members and provide positive recommendations to the Committee, as they relate to general practice and "...health policy, administration and expenditure..."
